Who am I?

Jan 1, 2025

My name’s Faseeh [ فصيح ] , it’s an Arabic word that means someone who’s eloquent, like someone who speaks really clearly and persuasively. I like that it has this connection to communication…kind of fitting, since a lot of what I do involves designing and telling stories clearly.

My path into design wasn’t exactly linear. I studied Economics at LUMS (2020) in Lahore, Pakistan, where I first fell in love with systems thinking and solving messy real-world problems. Later, I got my Master’s in Computer Graphics from Purdue University (2023), where I dove headfirst into the world of human-computer interaction. That mix of left-brain logic and right-brain creativity still defines how I work today.

I’ve lived in Lahore, Indiana, San Jose, Seattle, and now Omaha, chasing opportunities, community, and a sense of home. Along the way, I’ve picked up new routines, swapped weather extremes, and added a few thousand miles to my story.

When not immersed in work, you'll likely find me /writing about design, taking /pictures or collecting /artifacts from around the world. I semi-regularly also maintain a list of /books I've read.

If you're curious to know more, Look up /what I'm upto for what's currently on my creative radar or if you're into the nuts and bolts, read /how this site is built. Thanks for stopping by!
